We understand that every dog is different which is why we carefully assess each individual dog to see what kind of training tools will benefit best. Common tools we use: slip leads, e-collars, prong collars, martingales, starmarks
We use these tools because they are an effective and fair way to communicate with your dog. We take the appropriate time to properly habituate and introduce your dog to each tool used in training.
No, you cannot come to visit your dog during the board and trains. We require private lessons throughout your dogs stay. This is a time to say “hi” and start learning about your dogs behavior.
Balanced trainer. This means we use all four quadrants of operant conditioning, if needed. Our goal is to set up clear communication and rebuild a positive relationship with you and your dog. Education on positive reinforcement and your dogs emotional state is important for providing you tools to accomplish your goals.
At your consultation we will observe what your dog needs in order to accomplish given goals. After the initial assessment, we will give you a realistic time frame on board and train programs depending on the behavior displayed.
Yes, you will be given weekly training and photo updates.
Yes, we require you to be in town for board and train programs. You are required to come to the private lessons throughout the program. This is to help build your confidence and feel comfortable moving forward on your own. Dog training can be more about training the human than it is the dog.
The Given amount of food for your dogs stay, any medications, collar, high value freeze dried treats, chews.
Dependent. Both dogs are welcome for any given board and train program, but this is dependent on the dogs behavior and the ability of the owner. Some owners may feel like sending one at a time (back to back) is more beneficial for the dogs and themselves.

No. All training programs are non-refundable.
